At Maplopo, we translate and publish Japanese literature into English for a worldwide audience. In 2022, we also launched Maplopo Schoolhouse, an online learning platform for intermediate to advanced learners of the Japanese language. Our focus is on helping students advance their reading and writing skills beyond the level they may have already achieved via in-class and self-learning. Many of our current students are translators, former Japanese language and literature majors, and students working toward higher proficiency with the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (typically at the N2-N1 level)
